Utah Financial Education Hall of Fame - Nominations Open
Do you know an outstanding K-12 personal finance educator? Utah Treasurer Marlo M. Oaks, Utah Jump$tart Coalition, and the Utah State Board of Education are seeking nominations for the Utah Financial Education Hall of Fame. Nominations for six award categories will be accepted through May 8th. The honorees—four educators, one administrator, and one community partner—will be recognized at a Utah Jump$tart Coalition induction ceremony on June 22, 2026.
2026 $tart $mart Teacher Summit
The 2026 $tart $mart Teacher Summit, hosted by the Utah Jump$tart Coalition, is a full-day professional development event designed to empower educators to teach money smarts in an age-appropriate, engaging way to young learners.
Date: Tuesday, June 23, 2026
Location: Utah Capitol North Conference Center (in-person, perfect for face-to-face connections!)
Time: Starting at 8:00 AM-3 PM
Spring GFL METHODS COURSE
The Spring 2026 GFL Methods course registration is now open and will take place from January 21st - February 24th. This course will run through USBE’s Canvas. There will be 1 module completed each week for the 4-week course. Educators may complete the work on each module on their own time throughout those weeks. Course registration is available now through January 21, 2026, in MIDAS.
